What are the eligibility criteria for application?
IT Officer: Must possess an Engineering/Technology degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related subject, or a postgraduate degree in a related subject.

Agricultural Field Officer (AFO): A 4-year bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Veterinary Science, or a related field is required.
Rajbhasha Adhikari: Must possess a postgraduate degree in Hindi, with English studied at the graduation level; OR a postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects.

Law Officer: Must possess an LLB degree and be registered as an advocate with the Bar Council.
HR/Personnel Officer: Must possess a postgraduate degree/diploma in HR, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Social Work, or Labour Law.

Marketing Officer: Must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline along with an MBA, MMS, PGDM, or equivalent 2-year course specializing in Marketing. Application Fee
For the IBPS SO Recruitment 2026, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹175 (inclusive of GST). Meanwhile, the application fee for candidates in all other categories—including General, OBC, and EWS—is set at ₹850 (inclusive of GST). The fee can be paid only through online modes.
