The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for recruitment to Specialist Officer posts. Candidates wishing to apply for the IBPS SO vacancy can do so by visiting the official IBPS website starting July 1.

A total of 745 candidates will be selected through this recruitment drive. The deadline for applications is July 21, 2026.

**Eligibility Criteria**
To apply for the IBPS SO post, the minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum is 30 years.
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for candidates with disabilities (PwD).
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India.

**Application Fee**
Payment of the application fee is mandatory. The fee is ₹175 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and ₹850 for candidates belonging to the unreserved category.

**Selection Process**
The selection process will consist of three stages. In the preliminary examination, candidates will face 100 questions worth a total of 125 marks, covering subjects such as English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The exam duration will be 80 minutes. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be called for the main examination. The main examination will be conducted for a total of 200 marks.

**Salary Details**
Candidates selected for the SO posts will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.
