IBPS SO Recruitment: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Officer (PO) as well as Specialist Officer (SO). A total of 1007 posts will be recruited under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from July 1, 2025, by visiting the official website of IBPS ibps.in. The last date for application and the last date for fee payment have been fixed as 21 July 2025.
The exam will be held in August.
The IBPS PO Prelims exam will be conducted in August 2025, while the Mains exam will be conducted in November 2025. After the Mains exam, the result will be declared in the same month, in November 2025. The interview for the selected candidates will be conducted between December 2025 and January 2026. Finally, the provisional allotment will be done between January and February 2026.

Selection will be done on so many posts
A total of 1007 posts will be recruited under IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment 2025. These include 203 posts of IT Officer, 310 posts of Agriculture Field Officer (AFO), 78 posts of Official Language Officer, 56 posts of Law Officer (Scale-1), 10 posts of HR/Personnel Officer, and 350 posts of Marketing Officer (MO).
This much will be the application fee.
Talking about the application fee, the fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is Rs 850, while for SC, ST, and PH category it is Rs 175. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, internet banking or mobile wallets.
This recruitment drive is being organized to fill the vacant posts in various public sector banks, including PNB, Bank of India, UCO Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, and Union Bank of India.
How much salary will be given?
The pay scale of IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) post is Rs. 48,480–2000/7–Rs. 62,480–2340/2–Rs. 67,160–2680/7–Rs. 85,920. There is a salary hike based per the number of years of service.
