IBPS Bharti 2024: There is good news for those preparing for bank recruitment examinations for government jobs. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released recruitment for about 10 10,000 posts of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) i.e. Clerk and Staff Officer (Scale-I, II, and III) in Regional Rural Banks. According to IBPS CRP RRB XIII (Officer Scale-I, II and III and Office Assistant) Recruitment Notification 2024, out of 9995 vacancies, 5585 vacancies are for Multi-Purpose Office Assistants i.e. Clerk. While there are 3499 vacancies for Officer Scale-I post.
Applications for this bumper recruitment of IBPS have started from June 7 itself. Applications for this can be made till June 27 by visiting the IBPS website ibps.in. The preliminary examination of IBPS Group A Officers and Group B- Office Assistants (Multipurpose) Recruitment will be conducted in August.

IBPS Bharti 2024: Application Fee
The application fee for recruitment to the posts of Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I of IBPS is Rs 850. However, the application fee for SC, ST, and Divyang candidates is only Rs 175. The date for payment of the application fee and printing of the application form is 27 June and 12 July respectively.
IBPS Bharti 2024: Eligibility for Office Assistant and Officer Posts
Age Limit- The age limit for the post of Office Assistant is 28 to 18 years and the age limit for the posts falling under the Group A Officer category is different. 18 to 30 years for Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) post, 21 to 32 years for Officer Scale-II (Manager) post, and 21 to 40 years for Officer Scale-II (Senior Manager) post. SC/ST will get 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit, 3 years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer, and 10 years for Divyang candidates.
Educational Qualification- There should be a bachelor's degree for Office Assistant and Officer posts. But for officer posts, graduation should be in the relevant subject. See notification for detailed information.
