An official notification has been released for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) at IBPS. Candidates preparing for the IBPS PO exam to secure a government job in the banking sector can apply for the IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 starting July 1. IBPS has announced vacancies for a total of 6,715 PO/MT-XVI posts. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out their application forms on the official website, ibps.in, until July 21, 2026.

**Salary Scale**
Candidates selected for the PO/MT posts will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.

**Age Limit**
The minimum age limit is 20 years, and the maximum is 30 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.

**Educational Qualification**
To apply, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India.

**Registration Fee**
The registration fee is determined by category, as follows:

SC/ST/PwD: ₹175
General/OBC/EWS: ₹850

**Selection Process**
The selection process will consist of three stages: the Preliminary Examination, the Main Examination, and the Interview. In the Preliminary Examination, candidates will face 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks, covering English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. Candidates selected in this examination will be invited to the main examination. In the main examination, candidates will be asked 170 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The duration of the main examination has been set at 160 minutes. Candidates selected in the main examination will be called for an interview.
