IB Vacancy 2025: There is very good news for the youth who are looking for a government job after passing the 10th grade. The Intelligence Bureau (IB), working under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has released vacancies for the posts of Security Assistant (Motor Transport). The application process for this has started, and interested candidates can apply by visiting mha.gov.in before 12 midnight on 28 September. The application process started on 6 September.

IB has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 455 posts of Security Assistant (Motor Transport). Through this recruitment process, the operational mobility of the regional units of the agency across the country is to be strengthened. Applications have to be made in online mode. All the posts are in various Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaus (SIB) located in different states and union territories.

The candidate applying must have passed the 10th grade from any recognized board. Also, the candidate must have a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license and at least one year of driving experience after obtaining the license. At the same time, the age of the applicant should be between 18 and 27 years as on 28 September 2025. As per the rules of the Central Government, candidates of reserved categories, including Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit.

IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

Candidates applying for these posts will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 and a processing fee of Rs 550. Payment can be made through debit/credit card, net banking, UPI, or challan.

IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: How will the selection be done?

Selection will be done through Tier 1 and Tier 2 examinations, document verification, and medical examination. Questions related to general awareness and reasoning will be asked in the Tier-I exam. Successful candidates will appear in the Tier 2 exam. Selected candidates will be placed in Level-3 Pay Matrix (Rs 21,700 – 69,100), along with Central Government allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and transport allowance. Additional benefits include medical facilities, pension under the National Pension System (NPS), and leave entitlements
