IB Recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau of the Ministry of Home Affairs has invited applications for 455 posts of Security Assistant Motor Transport. Detailed notification has been issued for these posts. Interested candidates can apply on the official website mha.gov.in from September 6.
A total of 455 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, including 219 for General, 90 for OBC NCL, 51 for SC, 49 for ST, and 46 for EWS.
10th pass apply
For this recruitment, candidates must have a 10th pass certificate, and an LMV driving license is mandatory. Also, it is necessary to have at least 1 year of experience in driving.
Candidates should be between 18 and 27 years of age. Age will be calculated on the basis of 28 September 2025. At the same time, SC / ST candidates will be given a relaxation of 5 years, and OBC candidates will be given a relaxation of 3 years.
Exam Pattern
The Tier-1 exam will be of 100 marks, and 1 hour will be given for it. The question paper will be divided into 5 sections, in which 20 20 questions will be asked related to General Awareness, Basic Transport Driving Rules, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical, Analytical Logical Ability, and English Language. Negative marking of 1/4 marks will be applicable for wrong answers.
The Tier-2 exam will be of 50 marks, and questions related to Motor Mechanism and Driving will be asked in it.
The final selection will be done on the basis of the performance ranking of Tier-I and Tier-II. After this, character and background checks and health tests of the candidates will be done. Initially, the appointment will be temporary. Permanent appointment will be given as per government rules and performance.
How much will be the application fee?
The application fee for this recruitment is Rs 650 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. At the same time, the fee for SC, ST, Women, and Ex-Serviceman candidates has been kept at Rs 550.
This much salary will be given.
The monthly salary for this post will be between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100. Apart from this, other allowances will also be given to the candidates.
