The application process will begin on September 27, 2025, and will continue until October 17, 2025. Lateral positions include Deputy General Managers, Assistant General Managers, Senior Managers, and Managers. Applications are also invited for trainee officers (E-1) in various disciplines.

The lateral positions include 15 positions in Project/Engineering, 16 in Finance, 3 in Human Resources and Administration, 2 in IT, and 1 in Economics.

What are the qualifications?
Candidates for lateral positions must have at least 3 to 15 years of work experience in the relevant field. Educational qualifications vary by position, including a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, management, finance, and law. Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the age criteria. Age relaxation will be available for reserved category candidates.

The application fee is ₹1,500 for lateral positions and ₹1,000 for trainee officers. SC/ST and PwBD candidates are exempted from the fee.

Selection Process?
Selection for lateral positions will be based on qualified experience and an interview. For trainee officers, the interview will be conducted through a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will consist of 150 questions, covering both domain-specific and general knowledge/aptitude. Final selection will be based on 80% of the marks in the CBT and 20% on the interview.

Salary Scale?
The pay scale for lateral positions ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹220,000, depending on the level of the position. A total of 42 positions are available for Officer Trainee (E-1), including 15 in Project/Engineering, 14 in Finance, 3 in Law, 2 in Human Resources & Administration, 2 in IT, 1 in Economics, and 1 in Official Language. Officer Trainee salaries range from ₹40,000-1,40,000 (IDA), and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
