If you have been waiting for a Group D government job in Haryana, it is time to ramp up your preparations. The HSSC has launched the application process for the CET Group D recruitment 2026, and eligible candidates can now apply online. The deadline for applications is July 3, 2026; therefore, it is advisable to fill out the form well in advance rather than waiting until the last minute.

The application fee for this recruitment can be paid until July 6. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to rectify any errors made while filling out the form; the Commission will open a correction window from July 7 to July 9.

For most Group D posts, candidates are required to have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. They must also have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to the 10th-grade level. However, specific eligibility criteria have been set for certain posts such as Sweeper, Watchman, and Sweeper-cum-Watchman.

What is the age limit?

Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years of age as of the application deadline. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the Common Eligibility Test (CET). The exam will carry 100 marks, and the duration will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. All questions will be mandatory. The exam will be conducted offline (OMR-based), and the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English.

What is the application fee?

Candidates who previously applied for the CET Group C (Advertisement No. 1/2025) are not required to pay the fee again. However, first-time applicants must pay the online fee applicable to their respective categories. The standard fee will be ₹1,000 or as per the rate determined by the government from time to time.
