HPU Recruitment 2025: Haryana Power Utilities has announced a significant recruitment drive for candidates with engineering degrees and GATE exam qualifications. The application process for the post of Assistant Engineer (AE) is open for Haryana Power Utilities (HPU). The last date for submission of applications is October 29, 2025.
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 285 positions at Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL). Selection will be based solely on GATE scores; no written examination will be conducted.
HPU Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess a full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Civil Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
Full-time M.E./M.Tech degree holders can also apply.
Candidates must have a valid GATE 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 score.
Age Limit & Salary
Applicants must be between 20 and 42 years of age as of October 29, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories as per the rules.
Pay Scale: Level-09 Pay Scale - Salary ranging from ₹53,100 to ₹1,67,800 per month.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based solely on their GATE score. If two candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be given preference.

Women, SC, BC-A/BC-B, ESM, EWS: An application fee of ₹148 is required.
