**When Will Applications Begin?**
The online application process for the positions announced by HPSCB will commence on Saturday (May 9). The deadline for submitting the application form has been set for May 29. Consequently, candidates wishing to be appointed to the post of Junior Clerk may submit their registration forms on the official website—starting from the moment the application link becomes active—up until the stipulated deadline or earlier.

**What Are the Eligibility Criteria?**
Applicants must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized institution or university. Candidates must have passed their Matriculation (10th grade) and 12th-grade examinations from a school or institution located within Himachal Pradesh. Additionally, candidates must fulfill other prescribed eligibility conditions.

The minimum age limit for candidates has been set at 18 years, and the maximum age limit at 45 years; age will be calculated as of January 1. Furthermore, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules.

**What Is the Selection Process?**
Eligible candidates will be selected based on various stages, including an online written examination, document verification, etc. Upon selection, the candidates' monthly salary will be ₹19,900. In addition to this, selected candidates will also be entitled to other benefits and allowances.

The online examination, carrying a total of 150 marks, is likely to be conducted approximately 5–6 weeks after the final date for submitting application forms, with a duration of two and a half hours. Furthermore, admit cards are expected to be issued approximately 7 days before the examination date, and the results are likely to be declared approximately 15 days after the examination has been conducted. While filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee online, in accordance with their respective categories. This fee has been fixed at ₹1,000 for General (UR) and OBC candidates from Himachal Pradesh, and ₹800 for candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), SC/ST/IRDP/BPL/Antyodaya categories, as well as female candidates across all categories.
