HPSC Assistant District Attorney: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will start the application process for recruitment to the posts of Assistant District Attorney (ADA) in the Prosecution Department from today. According to the notification issued by the Commission, a total of 255 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Interested candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website www.hpsc.gov.in. The last date for submission of the application and fee has been fixed as 2 September 2025.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

Candidates applying for the post of Assistant District Attorney must have a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized institute in India. Also, Hindi or Sanskrit should have been studied as one of the languages till class 10th. Registration of the candidate as an advocate with the Bar Council is also required.

The age of the candidates applying should be between 21 and 42 years. At the same time, there is a provision of relaxation in the age limit for reserved category candidates. The SC and ST categories will be given a maximum relaxation of 5 years, and the OBC category will be given a maximum relaxation of 3 years.

Know how much the application fee will be charged.

General category candidates applying for the post of Assistant District Attorney will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. At the same time, the application fee for EWS, OBC, and female candidates of Haryana state has been fixed at Rs 250.

Selection process and pay scale

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a screening test, a subject test, and an interview. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,67,800 per month.
