High Court Vacancy 2026: The Chandigarh-based Punjab and Haryana High Court has announced recruitment for the posts of Safai Sewak (Cleaner) and Mali (Gardener), and the application process is currently underway. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website, highcourtchd.gov.in. According to the notification, the deadline for applications is June 30, 2026.
A total of 167 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. These include 75 posts for Safai Sewak and 92 posts for Mali.

Who can apply?
Preference for Mali post: Candidates holding a diploma in Horticulture from a recognized institute or possessing at least 3 years of work experience as a gardener will be given preference.
Preference for Safai Sewak post: Candidates with at least 3 years of experience as a Safai Sewak (cleaner/sanitation worker) will be given preference during the selection process.
For both Safai Sewak and Mali posts, candidates are required to have knowledge of Hindi and the relevant regional language. The benefit of preference will be available only to those candidates who have obtained a diploma in Horticulture and/or the requisite 3 years of experience in the relevant post by June 30, 2026 (the last date for online applications).
Age Limit Criteria
For the Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026, the minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. Age will be calculated based on the date specified in the recruitment notification.
