According to the notification, this recruitment drive aims to fill 20 posts for Library Assistants (designated as Junior Judicial Assistants). Candidates must send their application forms to the address: Registrar General, Chhattisgarh High Court, Bodri, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), within the stipulated timeframe.
What are the required qualifications?
To apply for this position, candidates must hold a graduate degree in Library Science from a recognized university. Additionally, the applicant must be an Indian citizen. Regarding the age limit, the minimum age is set at 21 years and the maximum at 30 years for General category candidates from other states.
However, domicile residents of Chhattisgarh are granted relaxation in the maximum age limit, with the cap set at 40 years. Candidates belonging to the state's Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) can apply up to the age of 45. Local women of Chhattisgarh are granted special relaxation, with the maximum age limit set at 50 years.
What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,500 to ₹62,000, in accordance with Level-4 of the pay matrix. This pay scale will be implemented as per the salary structure prescribed by the state government. How will the selection take place?
The recruitment process will be conducted in two stages. A written examination will be held in the first stage. Subsequently, based on their performance in the written examination, candidates will be called for the second stage—the skill test. Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test in a 1:15 ratio. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in both the written examination and the skill test. In the event of a tie in marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
