Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026: The Haryana Police has issued a notification for the recruitment of 400 Special Police Officers (SPOs) in the Telecommunication Wing. This recruitment will be conducted under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007. A press note regarding this was issued on August 18, 2026.
Eligible ex-servicemen from the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), as well as former constables from the disbanded HSISF and HAP battalions, are eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Notably, there is no requirement for an online application, nor will there be any written or physical examination. Eligible candidates must submit their applications and necessary documents in person on the scheduled date.
**Applications to be submitted from August 24 to 27**
Candidates must submit their documents on the specific date designated for their district. Applications will not be accepted after the scheduled date.
**August 24:** Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, and Kaithal
**August 25:** Sonipat, Panipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Bhiwani, and Charkhi Dadri
**August 26:** Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat (Nuh), Palwal, Rewari, and Narnaul
**August 27:** Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Hansi, Jind, and Dabwali
Candidates must report to the Police Lines Telecommunication (opposite Sector-25, near Village Moginand, Panchkula) by 9:00 AM on their scheduled date.
**Who can apply?**
For this recruitment, the candidate's age must be between 25 and 50 years as of the date of the advertisement. The educational and service-related qualifications are as follows:
The candidate must have passed the 12th-grade examination.
Must have served for at least 5 years in the Armed Forces or CAPFs.
The candidate must not have been removed or dismissed from service due to indiscipline, misconduct, or medical unfitness.
Must have held 'Medical Category A' at the time of discharge from service. The discharge/character certificate must indicate an 'Exemplary' or 'Outstanding' rating.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in operating telecommunication equipment. Ex-servicemen who have served in the Signal Corps, in particular, may receive priority.
**How will the selection take place?**
Candidates will not be required to appear for any written examination or physical test for this recruitment. The selection process will primarily consist of the following stages:

Medical examination
Verification of character and antecedents
15-day capsule training post-selection
Candidates who meet all the prescribed criteria will undergo a 15-day capsule training program after being selected.
**Monthly Honorarium of ₹20,000**
Selected SPOs will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹20,000. This amount will be credited directly to their bank accounts. Additionally:
Uniform allowance: ₹3,000 (one-time)
TA/DA: ₹150 per day for official tours
No application fee will be charged for this appointment.
