HSSC Police Constable Recruitment 2026: With the start of the new year, great news has come for the youth of Haryana. According to the advertisement issued by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, a total of 5500 constable posts will be filled in the Haryana Police. This recruitment will be done in three different categories:

– 600 posts for Female Constables (General Duty)
– 400 posts for Male Constables (GRP)

Important Conditions Related to Category Certificates
For BCA/BCB/EWS candidates, the supporting certificate must have been issued on or after April 1, 2025, and must be valid until the last date of application. For DSC/OSC candidates, the certificates should have been issued after November 13, 2024. Additionally, for ESM (Ex-Servicemen) family members, the certificate must have been issued or updated on or after January 12, 2025. What are the educational qualifications required?
For all posts in categories 1 to 3, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or institution. It is also mandatory to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the matriculation level or above. The commission has clarified that no additional weightage will be given for any higher educational qualification beyond 10+2.
