Who can apply?
Candidates must possess a regular or full-time degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant engineering branch.
The degree must be from a recognized university or statutory institution.
Degrees obtained under the 10+2+4 pattern or 10+3+3 (lateral entry) pattern are valid. Additionally, 5-year or 6-year integrated degrees are also valid.
Qualifications obtained through correspondence, distance education, part-time study, or e-learning will not be considered valid.
The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 28 years for the General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation as per the rules.
Age will be calculated as of October 17, 2026.

What is the required percentage of marks?
A minimum marks requirement has been stipulated alongside the educational qualification.
General, OBC, and EWS categories: 60% marks
SC, ST, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates: 50% marks
Appointment for three years; what is the salary?

The appointment of the Junior Executive will be on a short-term basis for a maximum period of 3 years.

The appointment will automatically terminate upon the completion of the three-year tenure and will not be extended further.
Candidates will be placed in the E0 pay scale of ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000.

Initial basic pay of ₹30,000 per month
Dearness Allowance based on basic pay
House Rent Allowance based on city classification (if company accommodation is not provided)

Cafeteria allowance of up to 35% of basic pay
Annual increment of 3% on basic pay in the second and third years
Reimbursement of medical insurance premium up to ₹25,000 annually for health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh

What is the application fee?
The application fee varies by category:

General, OBC, and EWS: ₹500
SC, ST, and PwD candidates: No fee

The fee must be paid online via the State Bank of India (SBI) platform. Candidates must select the ‘HAL CHRC Recruitment 2026-27’ option for this purpose. The application fee paid is non-refundable.
