Eligibility to Apply Under Vidya Sambal Yojana

Both young candidates and eligible retired teachers will be able to apply for these positions. The Vidya Sambal Yojana includes provisions for appointing guest faculty to the following posts: Grade-3 teachers for classes 1 to 8, Senior Teachers for classes 9 and 10, and Lecturers for classes 11 and 12 at the school level. No Written Exam for Guest Faculty Selection

Interested and eligible candidates will not be required to take a written examination or undergo an interview for selection as guest faculty. According to available information, the weightage for minimum educational qualifications may be set at 75%, while 25% weightage may be allocated for academic and professional qualifications combined with experience. A provision has been outlined to give preference to older candidates in the event of a tie in marks.

**Selected guest faculty to receive hourly remuneration**

Guest faculty will not receive the same salary as regular government teachers. Selected candidates will be paid an hourly honorarium based on prescribed rates. For Grade-3 teachers, instructors, and laboratory assistants, the honorarium is set at ₹300 per hour, with a maximum monthly cap of ₹21,000. Senior teachers may receive ₹350 per hour (up to a maximum of ₹25,000 per month), while lecturers may receive ₹400 per hour (up to a maximum of ₹30,000 per month).

In higher education, the provisions for honorarium are as follows: ₹800 per hour (max. ₹45,000/month) for Assistant Professors, ₹1,000 per hour (max. ₹52,000/month) for Associate Professors, and ₹1,200 per hour (max. ₹60,000/month) for Professors.
