Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) in the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department. Under this recruitment process, interested candidates can apply online from 27 February 2025. The last date of application has been fixed as 27 March 2025. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website. This campaign will recruit a total of 28 posts.

Required Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for this recruitment must have passed graduation from any recognized university.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates applying for recruitment has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age at 37 years. While the candidates of reserved category will be given age relaxation as per the rules. Let us tell you that the age will be calculated on the basis of 01 August 2024.

Selection Process

Preliminary Written Examination (Prelims) - This exam will be of 200 marks, which will have 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

Main Written Examination (Mains) - There will be two papers, each of 200 marks. The first paper will have questions related to Hindi and the second paper will have questions related to other subjects.

Physical Efficiency Test (Physical Test) - Candidates successful in the written examinations will have to appear in the physical examination.

Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay the application fee. To apply, candidates have to deposit a fee of Rs 700. Whereas male/female of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe category, native of Bihar, female candidates of all categories native of the state, and candidates of third gender category will have to pay Rs 400.
