If you are looking for a government job in Bihar and dream of working in the Forest Department, then here's good news for you. BPSC has started the recruitment process for Assistant Forest Conservator posts. Candidates can apply within the stipulated time.

This is a completely government job, and selected candidates will receive a salary according to Level-9. The application process is entirely online.

Only candidates who have graduated from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this recruitment. A degree in Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Zoology, Forestry, Agriculture, or Engineering is required.

The minimum age for application is 21 years. The maximum age limit for general category men is 37 years, while it is 40 years for OBC, EBC, and women, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates.

This recruitment includes a physical test, where men will have to walk 25 km in 4 hours and women 14 km in 4 hours. The height requirement is 163 cm for general category men, 152.5 cm for SC/ST men, 150 cm for general category women, and 145 cm for SC/ST women.

Online applications for this recruitment started on January 12, 2026. Interested candidates can fill out the form until February 2, 2026. Applications will only be accepted through the official BPSC website.

First, you need to register on the BPSC website using a one-time registration process. Then, verify your email and mobile number with an OTP. After that, upload your information and documents. Finally, upload your photo and signature, pay the fee, and submit the form.
