If you are a 10th pass and looking for a government job, this news is very important for you. Applications have started for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment for young people dreaming of a government job in Delhi.
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) started the application process on December 17th. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the commission's official website, dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
A total of 714 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Posts have been allocated for different categories. The highest number of posts is reserved for the general category. In addition, there are a good number of vacancies for OBC, SC, ST, and EWS category candidates. This clearly shows that an attempt has been made to give equal opportunities to youth from all categories.
To apply for the Delhi MTS recruitment, candidates must have passed the 10th class from a recognized board. An age limit has also been set. The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 27 years. However, candidates from reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules. Therefore, such candidates should carefully read the notification.
Candidates selected for the MTS post will also receive a good salary. The salary for this post will be given in Pay Level-01 according to the 7th Pay Commission. The starting salary will be Rs. 18,000 per month, which can increase to approximately Rs. 56,000. In addition, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, and other government benefits will also be added to the salary. This makes the total salary even more attractive.
Candidates in the MTS recruitment will be selected based on a written examination. This examination will be conducted as Tier-1. The exam will consist of a total of 200 questions, for which 2 hours will be given. The questions will be based on General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Hindi Language, and English Language. There will be negative marking in the exam, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
The last date to apply for this recruitment is January 15, 2026. Candidates can apply online until 11:59 PM. To apply, candidates must first register on the DSSSB website. After registering, they need to log in and fill in their personal information, educational qualifications, and other necessary details.
