Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) has issued an official notification to apply for the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Candidates who want to apply for these posts can soon apply online by visiting the official website. A total of 220 candidates will be appointed through this recruitment exam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website till 08 September 2025.

How much salary will be given

Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Professor will be given Rs 1,01,500 to Rs 1,67,400 per month. Candidates selected for the post of Associate Professor will be given Rs 1,38,300 to Rs 2,09,200, candidates selected for the post of Additional Professor will be given Rs 1,48,200 to Rs 2,11,400 per month, and candidates selected for the post of Professor will be given Rs 1,68,900 to Rs 2,20,400 per month.

Educational Qualification

To apply for these posts, the candidates must have done an MD, MS, or DM from a recognized institute in India. Apart from this, the candidates should also have other prescribed eligibility criteria. Also, the candidates should have work experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit

To apply for these posts, the maximum age of the candidates should be 50 years. Apart from this, age relaxation will also be provided to the candidates of the special category.

Application Fee

To apply, the candidates will have to get a demand draft made. The application fee for general category candidates has been fixed at Rs 2,000, and for OBC, SC & ST, Divyang, and EWS candidates the application fee has been fixed at Rs 1,000.
