Uttarakhand Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025: A great opportunity has come up for the candidates looking for a government job in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 439 posts of Assistant Professor in government medical colleges of the state. The application process will start from March 1, 2025, and candidates have to apply by March 21, 2025.

Of these posts, 218 are reserved for the General Category (Unreserved), 112 for SC, 09 for ST, 68 for OBC, and 32 for EWS. Candidates will get a salary as per the pay scale of Rs 67700-208700 per month (Level-11).

The posts of Assistant Professor include posts for the departments of Anesthesia, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Blood Bank, Community Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, General Surgery, Microbiology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Oto Rhino Laryngology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiology, Psychiatrist, Radiodiagnosis, Radiotherapy, and Respiratory.

Selection Process
The education and experience of the candidates will be considered in the selection process. It will also be ensured that the candidate has the prescribed educational qualification and experience. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat also informed that under this recruitment, the vacant posts of government medical colleges will be filled soon.
