APPSC Recruitment 2025: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 691 posts of Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO). The application process will start from July 16, 2025, and the last date to apply is August 5, 2025.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting psc.ap.gov.in. Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will be given responsibility in the Forest Department.
How many posts will be selected?
A total of 691 posts will be recruited under this recruitment drive. Out of these, 256 posts are for Forest Beat Officer, while 435 posts have been earmarked for Assistant Beat Officer. This recruitment is being done under the Forest Department of the state, in which the selected candidates will be entrusted with responsibilities related to environmental protection and forest protection.

Age limit and relaxation
The minimum age of the candidates applying for these posts should be 18 years, and the maximum age 30 years. The age will be calculated on the basis of 1 July 2025. However, reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and other categories will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.
How much will the application fee be?
For this recruitment process, candidates have to pay Rs 250 application fee and Rs 80 examination fee, i.e., a total of Rs 330. However, SC, ST, BC, and Ex-Servicemen category candidates are exempted from the examination fee. These candidates can fill the form by paying only the Rs 250 application fee.
