The GPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 aims to fill 72 vacancies for candidates holding MD/MS/DNB degrees in the relevant specialization.

Who can apply?
An MD (Medicine), MD (General Medicine), or DNB (General Medicine) is required for General Medicine.

An MS (Surgery), MS (General Surgery), or DNB (General Surgery) qualification is valid for General Surgery.
Obstetrics and Gynecology: Candidates must have an MD/MS (Obstetric Gynecology) or DNB (Obstetric Gynecology).

Pediatrics requires an MD (Pediatrics) or DNB (Pediatrics), while Orthopedics requires an MS (Orthopedics) or DNB (Orthopedics).

Application Fee:
General category candidates will be required to pay ₹100 plus postal or service charges. SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, PwBD, and ex-servicemen (Gujarat origin only) candidates are fully exempted from the application fee.

How will the selection be conducted?
In this recruitment, candidates will first have to appear for a preliminary examination of 200 marks, which will last 180 minutes. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will be invited for an interview, based on which the final selection will be made.
