The age limit for this recruitment has been fixed from 18 to 45 years.

More than 19 thousand constables will also be recruited.

Constables are also going to be recruited by UP Police. Under this recruitment, more than 19 thousand posts of constable will be filled, for which the UP Police Recruitment Board has also started its preparations. The board can issue a notification in the coming weeks, after which the application process will also start.

SI will also be recruited.

Apart from constables, 4543 sub-inspectors will also be recruited by UP Police. This time there has been a big change in UP Police SI recruitment. Under this change, it has been decided to give 3 years relaxation in age limit to candidates of all categories. According to reports, this relaxation in age limit is to be given for direct recruitment to the vacant posts of sub-inspector from the selection year 2020-21 to 2024-25. It is being said that the benefit of this relaxation will also be available to those 5 lakh youth, whose age has crossed.

Provision has been made to give reservation to Agniveers in UP Police Recruitment. Recently, the Yogi Cabinet had decided that 20 percent reservation will be given to Agniveers. However, the benefit of this reservation will be available only to those Agniveers who are native residents of UP.
