Assam Rifles Recruitment 2025: Assam Rifles has started the recruitment process for a total of 79 vacancies for Warrant Officer, Rifleman, and other posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website assamrifles.gov.in till July 21, 2025. This recruitment is being done under various trades and categories.

Eligibility and age limit conditions

Only those candidates who are eligible on compassionate grounds can apply for this recruitment in the Assam Rifles. This means that only a dependent member of those families can apply, whose members were martyred in war, died during service, went missing while on duty, or were released from service due to medical reasons.

The cut-off date for calculating the age limit of the candidates has been fixed as 1 August 2025. That is, the maximum age limit will be fixed keeping this date in mind. Information about age relaxation and category-wise rules is given in the official notification.

Application Process and Salary Information

Candidates must mention “Application for Appointment on Compassionate Grounds” on the envelope while sending their application through the post. As far as salary is concerned, the selected candidates will be paid on the pay scale and other allowances as per the regular personnel of the Assam Rifles.

The application must be accompanied by self-attested photocopies of educational certificate, residence certificate, caste certificate, trade-related Diploma/Technical/ITI certificate (if applicable), and a valid photo identity card (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Driving License).
