MPTRANSCO Recruitment 2025: Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPTRANSCO) has released a notification for recruitment to more than 600 posts. Interested candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website (mptransco.in). The last date for application has been kept as 4 August 2025.

A total of 633 posts will be recruited, which include Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Line Attendant, Substation Attendant, and other posts.

The post-wise vacancies are as follows:

According to the notification issued, 63 posts have been fixed for Assistant Engineer (Transmission), 1 post for Law Officer, 247 posts for Junior Engineer (Transmission), and 12 posts for Junior Engineer (Civil).

At the same time, 67 posts of Line Attendant, 229 posts of Substation Attendant, and 14 posts of Surveyor Attendant have also been included.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit

Under MP Transco Recruitment 2025, candidates for various posts must have a degree or diploma in the relevant field, such as engineering, law, or technical subjects. Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 40 years. However, candidates from reserved categories will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

Pay Scale

The candidates selected for this recruitment will be given a salary of Rs 19,500 to Rs 62,000 per month according to the post.

The selection process will be based on CBT and Physical Tests.

Under MP Transco Recruitment 2025, candidates will be selected mainly through Computer Based Test (CBT). This exam will be of 100 marks, in which all the questions will be multiple choice (MCQ) and each question will be of 1 mark. It will be mandatory to score a minimum of 25% marks in this exam, otherwise the candidate will not be considered eligible for the next stage.

Physical Efficiency Tests will also be mandatory for technical posts like Line Attendant, Substation Attendant, and Surveyor Attendant. For this stage, the list of candidates who will be selected based on online examination and educational qualification will be released on the company's website. This list will be limited to a maximum of three times the number of candidates from the vacancies of each post.

Candidates selected for the physical test will have to cover a distance of 1 km on foot in 10 minutes with a weight of 15 kg. This test can be given only once. If a candidate does not pass it, he will not be allowed to appear in the exam again.

This much will be the application fee.

For MP Transco Recruitment 2025, candidates of unreserved category (UR) will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200, while natives of Madhya Pradesh who fall in the category of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC-Non Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) or Divyangjan will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. This fee will be deposited through online mode and any kind of exemption in it will be given only to the eligible candidates as per the rules.
