MPPGCL Vacancy 2025: Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited has announced a large recruitment drive for 90 Plant Assistant positions. Only male candidates are eligible to apply. If selected, you will receive a handsome salary ranging from ₹25,300 to ₹80,500.
How many vacancies are available?
This time, recruitment is underway for a total of 90 positions. Of these, 53 positions are reserved for mechanical trades and 37 for electrical trades. Reservations include 24 for the general category, 15 for Scheduled Castes, 18 for Scheduled Tribes, 24 for Other Backward Classes, and 9 for the economically weaker section.
What are the eligibility requirements?
To apply, candidates must have passed the 10th standard from any recognized board. Additionally, a regular ITI from NCVT or SCVT in a relevant trade such as fitter, machinist, electrician, or wireman is mandatory. ITI marks must be at least 65% for General and OBC categories, 60% for MPPGCL employees, and at least 55% for SC, ST, EWS, and disabled candidates.
When and how to apply?
Online applications begin on December 1, 2025, and will continue until December 30, 2025. All applications must be submitted exclusively through the MPPGCL official website. General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹1,200, including GST. For SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), EWS, and disabled candidates who are natives of Madhya Pradesh, the fee is only ₹600. The fee must be submitted online only.
What is the exam pattern?
The exam will be completely computer-based and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. 75 of these questions will be from your trade, i.e., mechanical or electrical, and 25 from general knowledge, reasoning, and mathematics. The good news is that there is no negative marking. The paper will be in both Hindi and English. The final merit will be determined based on your marks.
What will be your salary and allowances?
If selected, you will receive a salary ranging from ₹25,300 to ₹80,500. The initial nine months will be a probationary period, during which you will receive a fixed percentage of the minimum wage as a stipend. After the probation is complete, you will receive your full salary and all government allowances. This is a great opportunity for young people who have completed their 10th and ITI degrees.
