The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) has released a major notification for recruitment to 100 posts of Junior Scientific Officer (JSO) and Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE).

This recruitment includes 27 posts for Junior Scientific Officer and 73 for Junior Environmental Engineer. Candidates for JSO must have an MSc degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, or Environmental Science. For JEE, a BE, B.Tech, MTech, or ME degree is mandatory.
The age limit is based on January 1, 2026. Generally, the age limit should be between 18 and 40 years, but SC, ST, OBC, and women of Rajasthan will receive a maximum relaxation of 5 to 10 years.
The application fee is determined by category. 1400 for General and Creamy Layer OBC/MBC, 1200 for Non-Creamy Layer OBC/MBC and EWS, and 1000 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates.
The selection process will be based solely on a written examination. The exam will consist of 75 questions, each carrying 3 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The exam duration will be 1 hour 30 minutes.
