Eligibility Criteria for Constable and Fireman Posts:
Candidates must have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board.
Candidates applying for 'Band' posts must possess knowledge of playing band instruments, while those applying for 'Bugler' posts must know how to play the bugle.
For the posts of Constable Band, Constable Bugler, and Constable (IRBn), candidates belonging to the General Category must meet the following physical standards: Height – 165 cm; Chest – 79 cm (unexpanded) and 84 cm (expanded). The prescribed height requirement is 157 cm for Constable (Civil Police – Female, Unreserved) and 165 cm for Constable (Civil Police – Male, Unreserved). For the Fireman position, the height requirement for unreserved candidates is 165 cm; for the Special Tiger Guard under the STPF, a height of 163 cm for males and 150 cm for females will be considered valid.
