Government Job: 400 staff nurses will be recruited soon, IGMC and Chamiyana will get staff..
400 staff nurses will be recruited for Himachal Pradesh's IGMC and Atal Super Specialty Institute of Medical Sciences (Chamiana). The problems faced in patient care due to the shortage of nurses in hospitals will also end. IGMC Principal Dr. Sita Thakur has informed us that the process of recruitment of nurses will start soon in the hospital. She said that this recruitment will be done through HPSEDC only. This will provide better care to the patients of IGMC and Chamiana Hospital. At present, the departments of Chamiana Hospital are also running in IGMC.
There is a huge shortage of nurses in IGMC
There is a huge shortage of nurses in IGMC. Due to this, on average more than 900 patients are admitted to Medicine, Surgery, Ortho, Neurosurgery, Urology, Cardiology, CTVS, Pulmonary Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Skin wards 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In such a situation, it becomes difficult to take care of patients due to the shortage of staff nurses here, because more than 300 posts are vacant, in such a situation the patients are not getting the care they should get. Due to the extra burden of work, many mental problems are being faced. Therefore, if they are deployed soon, then it will also provide a lot of relief to other nurses and admitted patients in the hospital.
