Post Office Internship: Youth are getting a chance to work as trainees in more than 100 post offices in the district. Youths with a 12th pass or higher qualification can apply for this. District Youth Officer Rajendra Jakhar said that Mera Yuva Bharat Kendra, Sirohi, run by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Central Government, has started this experience-based training program in collaboration with the Indian Postal Department. It will run for 15 days and 2 youths will be selected in every post office.
Application Process:
Visit Website: Visit the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Registration: Click on the link "GDS Recruitment 2025" and register by entering your email ID, mobile number, and other details.
Fill out the application form: Enter your name, date of birth, educational qualification, and other information carefully.
Upload Documents: Upload 10th mark sheet, Aadhar card, residence proof, passport size photo, and signature (10-100 KB, JPG format). Application Fee: For the General and OBC categories, pay Rs 100 online (net banking, credit/debit card). There is no fee for other categories.
Submit: After checking the information, submit the form and keep the printout.
Selection Process
Selection will be done through a merit list based on 10th-class marks. There will be no written test or interview. Selected candidates will be called for document verification.
Mera Yuva Bharat Portal
Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, an institution of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Central Government, has been renamed as Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat). Youth from all over the country can register on My Bharat Portal (https://www.mybharat.gov.in/) and sign up for volunteer opportunities. So far, more than 1.65 crore youth have registered on this portal and are getting the opportunity to work as trainees and skill development in various government departments and institutions.
