Golden opportunity to become a stenographer in Patna High Court, recruitment for 111 posts

Patna High Court has released a detailed notification for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Group-C. This is a great opportunity for the youth waiting for a job. A total of 111 posts will be filled, in which seats have been reserved for all categories. These include 32 posts for general category, 6 posts for EWS, 15 posts for BC category, 26 posts for EBC category, 30 posts for SC category and 2 posts for ST category.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 19 September 2025. The last date for depositing the application fee has been fixed as 21 September 2025.

How much salary will be given?

The candidates selected for this post will get a monthly salary of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 under the Level-4 pay scale. This pay scale makes this post even more attractive.

Educational Qualification

To apply, the candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board. Along with this, there should be a certificate of English shorthand and English typing. The candidate should have done a diploma in computer or a six-month certificate course. Also, the speed of English shorthand should be 80 words per minute and the speed of English typing should be 40 words per minute.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years. The maximum age limit has been fixed separately for different categories. The maximum age of male candidates of general and EWS category has been kept at 37 years. For women of general category and OBC category, this limit is 40 years, while candidates of SC and ST category can apply up to 42 years.

Application fee

To participate in the recruitment process, candidates of General, BC, EBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1100. At the same time, the fee for SC and ST candidates has been fixed at Rs 550.
