All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot has announced a big recruitment for faculty posts. In this, a total of 107 posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor will be recruited.

For the post of Professor, the candidate should have at least 14 years of experience with MD, MS or MDS degree. At the same time, 10 years of experience is required for Additional Professor. 6 years of teaching experience is mandatory for Associate Professor and 3 years for Assistant Professor. Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject is a must for all posts.

The maximum age limit for Professor and Additional Professor is 58 years. While the maximum age for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor has been fixed at 50 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per government rules. SC-ST category will get 5 years, OBC will get 3 years and Divyang candidates will get 10 years relaxation.

The candidates selected for these posts will get a great salary. The professor will get a salary of around Rs 1.68 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh every month. Additional Professor will be given a salary of Rs 1.48 lakh to 2.11 lakh, Associate Professor will get Rs 1.38 lakh to 2.09 lakh and Assistant Professor will get a salary of Rs 1.01 lakh to 1.67 lakh.

The application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 3,540. EWS candidates have been given a discount of Rs 2,832, female candidates Rs 1,180 and SC-ST and Divyang category candidates have been given full exemption.
