BPSC Jobs 2025: If you are looking for a government job and you have a post-graduation degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics, then there is great news for you. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released recruitment for the posts of District Statistical Officer / Assistant Director. Under this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 47 posts.

The process of online application for these posts has started at bpsc.bihar.gov.in and the last date of application has been fixed as 24 June 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the commission. Keep in mind, applications will be accepted only in online mode.

Who can apply?

To apply for these posts, the candidate must have a post graduation degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics from a recognized university.

Age limit

Talking about age, the minimum age at the time of application should be 21 years. The maximum age limit for general male candidates has been fixed at 37 years and for female candidates 40 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per rules.

What is the application fee?

For recruitment, general, OBC and other state candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. While for SC/ST/female candidates (only Bihar residents) it is Rs 150.

This much salary will be given

Under this recruitment, the selected candidates will get a salary ranging from Rs 53,100 to Rs 1,67,800 per month as per Level-9.
