Application Process and Fees
The application fee for Management Trainee Recruitment in Coal India is Rs 1180 for General and OBC category candidates. Whereas, application is free for SC/ST and Divyang candidates. The maximum age limit for this recruitment is 30 years.
Education Qualification
-Candidates must have passed BE/BTech or be final year students. Graduates in Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities can also join it.
-It is necessary to pass the GATE 2025 exam.

GATE 2025 Exam
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam. Which is designed to assess the understanding of candidates in various undergraduate subjects. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted by IIT Roorkee on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025. Its result will be declared on March 19.
GATE 2025 Exam Pattern
There will be three types of questions asked in the GATE 2025 exam - Multiple Choice (MCQ), Multiple-Select Question (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). The exam will be of three hours. In this, 15 marks will be asked for General Aptitude, 85 marks from the subject. Each question will be of one or two marks. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for one mark and 2/3 marks for a question of 2 marks.
