Extended Deadline for RRB JE Recruitment 2025: More Vacancies Announced, Apply Till 10 December
The Railway Recruitment Board has issued an important update for candidates applying to the RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2025. The application deadline, which was earlier set for November, has now been extended, giving aspirants additional time to complete their registration. With an increase in vacancies as well, this recruitment drive has become even more significant for engineering graduates and diploma holders looking for government job opportunities.
New Application Dates and Fee Payment Window
RRB has officially extended the last date for submitting online applications for JE, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant posts. Candidates can now complete their registration until 10 December 2025, 11:59 PM.
Along with this, the deadline for fee payment has also been extended. Applicants can now pay the examination fee until 12 December 2025. The Board has urged candidates to avoid last-minute delays and complete the process as early as possible.
Vacancies Increased for Two RRB Zones
A key highlight of this update is the increase in vacancies. RRB has revised the vacancy list for:

Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala (under RRB Jammu–Srinagar)

After these revisions, the total number of vacancies has increased to 2,588, giving more candidates a chance to secure a position under this recruitment cycle.
Correction Window for Registered Candidates
RRB has also opened a correction facility for those who have already registered:

PwBD applicants who require a scribe may submit their scribe information between 23 and 27 December 2025.

The fee structure remains unchanged:

₹500: General, OBC, and EWS candidates

₹250: SC, ST, PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen

No Fee: Transgender candidates
Applications will be accepted only after successful fee payment.
