This recruitment is being conducted by the Supreme Court of India, and all selected candidates will be posted in New Delhi. Category-wise vacancies are as follows: 40 posts for General category, 25 for OBC, 15 for SC, 7 for ST, and 3 for the other categories.

For this recruitment, candidates must have an LLB degree from a recognised university. Candidates who are currently in their final year of LLB can also apply. Candidates with basic computer knowledge may be given preference. This recruitment is also a good opportunity for fresh law graduates.

The minimum age for candidates applying for the Supreme Court of India Law Clerk cum Research Associate Recruitment 2026 is 20 years and the maximum age is 32 years. The age will be calculated as of February 7, 2026. Age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates as per Supreme Court rules.
