The National Forensic Sciences University has released a government recruitment notification for a total of 30 positions, ranging from Scientific Officer to Laboratory Assistant.

There is one position each for Senior Scientific Officer in Forensic Psychology and Happiness & Wellbeing.  There is also one position each for Junior Scientific Officer in Multimedia Forensics and DNA Forensics.

One position for a Senior Scientific Assistant in Multimedia Forensics is also available. The highest number of vacancies, 24, is for Laboratory Assistant positions.

For the Senior Scientific Officer position, a PhD or Master's degree and experience are required. For the Junior Scientific Officer position, a B.Tech or M.Sc. is mandatory, and for the Lab Assistant position, a Bachelor's degree is required.

The maximum age limit for Senior Scientific Officer is 40 years, and for Junior Scientific Officer is 35 years. The age limit for the Lab Assistant position is 18 to 27 years, with age relaxation for reserved categories.

The application fee is Rs. 500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates.
