**Eligibility Criteria for Application**
The eligibility criteria for Teaching Faculty positions have been determined in accordance with the 2025 regulations of the NMC (National Medical Commission). For the position of Senior Resident, candidates must possess an MD, MS, or DNB degree in the relevant subject. Additionally, all candidates must be registered with the MCI/RMC or any State Medical Council.
The maximum age limit has been set at 69 years for Teaching Faculty positions and 45 years for Senior Residents. Furthermore, under the age relaxation policy, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and the Scheduled Tribes (ST) will be granted a relaxation of 5 years, while candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) will receive a relaxation of 3 years.
In the event that the number of candidates is high, a preliminary written examination (comprising multiple-choice questions) in the relevant subject may be conducted first, followed by an interview for the shortlisted candidates. Final selection will be based on performance in the interview, and the results will be published on the official ESIC website. Selected candidates will be required to join immediately or within the timeframe specified in their appointment letters.
