Engineering Diploma Holders Get a Chance to Become Junior Engineers in this State; Over 2800 Vacancies Available

The Bihar Technical Service Commission has released a recruitment notification for 2809 Junior Engineer positions. The application process is online, and a large number of young people can benefit from this recruitment.

Under this recruitment drive, the Bihar Technical Service Commission will appoint a total of 2809 Junior Engineers. The majority of the positions are for Junior Engineers, totaling 2653.  In addition, there are 70 posts for JE Mechanical and 86 posts for JE Electrical.

For the Junior Engineer position, candidates must have a 3-year diploma in the relevant branch. A diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory for Civil JE, Mechanical Engineering for Mechanical JE, and Electrical Engineering for Electrical JE. According to the commission's rules, reservation benefits will be available only to residents of Bihar.

All categories of candidates will have to pay an application fee of only Rs. 100. Payment can be made online.

The minimum age for Junior Engineer recruitment is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years. The age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. OBC, EBC, and female candidates from Bihar will get a 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit, while SC and ST candidates will get a 5-year relaxation.

Selected Junior Engineers will receive a salary of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month. In addition, government allowances and other benefits will also be provided. Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and work experience.
