Eligibility to Become a DU Professor
To become an Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD in a relevant field with a proven track record. They must also have a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks and 8 years of teaching/research experience.

For a Professor, a PhD degree with 10 publications in the relevant subject and at least 10 years of teaching/research experience as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, etc. This means that even if you haven't passed the NET, you can still apply for this recruitment, as the NET is not a required qualification. Delhi College Professor Salary: How Much Will You Earn?
Salary: Associate Professors will receive a salary at Academic Pay Level 13A, and Professors at Academic Pay Level 14.
