There is important news for young people who dream of working at the University of Delhi (DU). The university has released an official notification for the recruitment of Assistants. Number of Vacancies
A total of 215 candidates will be selected through this recruitment drive. Of these, 164 positions are reserved for the General category, 33 for the SC category, and 18 for the ST category.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the position of Assistant at DU, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must possess two years of work experience in a relevant field. Applicants are also required to have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 32 years.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and a skill test. The written examination will consist of 100 questions (totaling 200 marks) covering subjects such as General Science, Reasoning, and Mathematics. A negative marking system will be in place, with one-fourth of a mark deducted for every incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in this examination will be invited to appear for the main examination, which will also carry 200 marks. Those who succeed in the main examination will then be called for a skill test, which will be conducted for 100 marks.
