Delhi Transco Limited (DTL) has invited applications for the recruitment of Assistant Manager Trainees for 2026. Interested candidates can apply through DTL's official website. A total of 65 positions will be filled under this recruitment drive, comprising 60 Assistant Manager (Trainee) posts and 5 Assistant Manager (Civil) Trainee posts. Candidates must be under 28 years of age and possess a valid GATE 2026 score in the relevant discipline.

**What are the educational qualifications?**

**Assistant Manager (Technical Trainee) – Electrical:** Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related branch (e.g., Electrical Power, Electrical & Electronics, Power System Engineering, etc.) from a recognized university.

**Assistant Manager (Technical Trainee) – Non-Electrical:** Candidates must hold a degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or Computer Science & Engineering.

**Assistant Manager (Civil) Trainee:** Candidates must hold a degree in Civil Engineering.
**Desirable Qualification (for Civil post):** Preference may be given to candidates with two years of experience in the design and construction of reinforced concrete structures, foundations for heavy machinery, and masonry structures.

**What is the application fee?**

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid via Demand Draft. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwBD categories are fully exempted from the application fee.

**Selection Process**

Candidates for all three posts will be selected based on their GATE 2026 scores.
There will be no separate written examination or interview for this recruitment.
Separate merit lists will be prepared for the Electrical, Non-Electrical, and Civil posts.

Final selection will be based on the normalized marks (out of 100) obtained in GATE 2026. The seniority of candidates selected for technical posts will be determined based on a 9:1 ratio between the electrical and non-electrical streams.
Selected candidates will undergo a total of one year of training.
The training will comprise 3 months of academic training and 9 months of field/on-the-job training.

Field training will be conducted at DTL substations and offices.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 65% marks in the training examination and the final assessment.
Candidates failing to secure 65% marks will not be appointed at DTL; such candidates may contact the Director (Human Resources) within 15 days
