DSSSB Vacancy 2026: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has issued a major recruitment notification. A total of 1,979 posts will be filled during this recruitment drive, encompassing various positions such as Junior Scientific Assistant, Trained Graduate Teacher (Computer Science), Special Educator, Technical Assistant, Fitter, Lift Operator, and Electrical Supervisor/Sub-Inspector.
The online application process is scheduled to commence on June 16, and interested candidates will be able to apply through the official DSSSB website.
Who Can Apply?
Junior Scientific Assistant: Must hold a postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in the relevant subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
TGT (Computer Science): Must possess a BCA / Graduation in Computer Science / B.Tech (CS/IT), or a DOEACC ‘A’ Level course certification.
Special Educator (Primary): Must have passed Class 12 + hold a 2-year Diploma in Special Education (D.Ed) or an RCI-recognized course + CTET (Primary) qualification.
IT Assistant: Must have passed Class 12 and possess a good typing speed (8000 KDPH).
Electrical Supervisor: Must hold a 3-year Diploma or a Graduation degree in Electrical Engineering + relevant experience.
Fitter: Must possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Electrician, Wireman, etc.).
Lift Operator: Must hold an ITI certification or have completed a relevant technical course; relevant experience is also required where applicable.
What Are the Age Limit Criteria?
In the DSSSB recruitment, different age limits have been prescribed for different posts. For most Group ‘C’ posts—such as JSA, Fitter, and Lift Operator—the candidate's age must fall between 18 and 27 years. Conversely, for Group ‘B’ posts—such as Teacher, Technical Assistant, and Archivist—the maximum age limit must not exceed 30 years. Furthermore, specific age limits have been stipulated for certain specialized posts; for instance, the age limit is set at 20 to 32 years for Fitter Grade-II, and 18 to 37 years for Lift Operator. Candidates are required to deposit the prescribed fee online before applying; this payment can be made via SBI e-Pay. The application fee is set at ₹100 for General and OBC candidates (excluding candidates from outside Delhi). Conversely, the application fee is completely waived (zero) for female candidates, SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities, and Ex-servicemen.

Register by filling in your name, mobile number, email ID, and other basic details.
Log in using the User ID and Password received after registration.
Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and post preferences in the application form.

Now, deposit the application fee (if applicable) online via SBI e-Pay.
Verify all the information and click on "Final Submit."
