All Exams to be Online, Conducted in CBT Mode
The board has also clarified that all exams will be conducted entirely in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will have to answer questions online at the examination centers, making the process more transparent and time-bound.
Exams for Several Important Posts on the First Day
The first phase of exams will be held on February 16, 2026. On this day, exams will be conducted for posts such as Dispatch Rider-cum-Process Server, Driver, Assistant Teacher Primary, PGT, TGT, Senior Scientific Assistant Microbiology, and MTS. These recruitments are related to the Delhi High Court, Directorate of Education, NDMC, and the Drugs Control Department.
Waiting Continues Regarding Age Relaxation
However, the new exam notification does not provide any clear information regarding age relaxation. Earlier, Education Minister Ashish Sood had said that a new date sheet would not be released until a system for age relaxation was in place. Due to the long gap in DSSSB exams during the previous governments, many candidates have crossed the age limit.
Separate Notice Expected, Candidates Should Stay Alert
It is expected that the board may soon issue a separate notification regarding age relaxation. In this situation, candidates are advised to regularly check the official DSSSB website for updates and to keep an eye on new instructions while continuing with their exam preparation.
