The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has opened applications for Assistant Teacher positions today. A total of 1,180 Assistant Teacher positions will be filled through this recruitment process, with 1,055 reserved for the Directorate of Education and 125 for the New Delhi Municipal Council. Educational Qualifications
To apply for Assistant Teacher positions, candidates must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess a JBT, D.El.Ed., or B.Ed. Degree or equivalent. Candidates must also have studied Hindi in Class 10th.

Age Limit
Candidates must not be more than 30 years of age to apply for these positions. Age relaxation will also be provided to candidates from special categories. SC and ST candidates will receive a five-year age relaxation, OBC candidates will receive a three-year age relaxation, and candidates with disabilities will receive a 10-year age relaxation.

Salary:
Candidates selected for this position will receive a salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. Candidates will also be selected through a written examination. The written examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 200 marks, from subjects such as general awareness, English, reasoning, and mathematics. The exam will last two hours.
