DSSSB PRT Notification 2025: Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Commission (DSSSB) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Teacher (PRT) in Primary Schools. The online application process for recruitment will start from 17 September 2025, and the last date to apply has been fixed as 16 October 2025. Interested candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website dsssbonline.gov.in.
Educational Qualification: Who can apply?
The candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks from a recognized education board.
The candidate must have at least 2 years of a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El Ed/ETE/JBT/DIET/B.El.Ed) recognized by NCTE.
The candidate must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.
Must have passed Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English as a language subject at the secondary level (10th).
Candidates are advised to check the complete eligibility and educational qualifications given in the official notification issued by DSSSB before applying.
Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 30 years.
Age relaxation will be provided to candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, etc.) as per government rules.

Application Fee
To apply for these posts, all candidates of the General Category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Whereas candidates of the Scheduled Caste (SC), the Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyangjan (PwD), and Ex-Servicemen category will not have to pay any kind of fee.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be given a salary every month on the basis of Pay Level-6. The salary will range from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month, which is an attractive pay scale for the candidates.
