DSSSB Forest Guard Qualification
Educational Qualification: To get a job in the post of Forest Guard, one must have passed at least 12th from a recognized board.
Age Limit: Candidates who are at least 18 years of age and a maximum of 27 years of age as on 16 September 2025 can apply for this post. Candidates of the reserved category will be given maximum age limit relaxation.
Physical Standards
Male: Height - 163 cm, Chest - 84 cm, Chest expansion 5 cm.
Female: Height 150 cm
Running: Women have to complete 16 km and men 25 km running in four hours.
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100, while all other reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PH) and women do not have to pay any fee. Fee can be deposited only in online mode through debit card, credit card, internet banking, etc.

How to get a job as a Forest Guard?
Eligible candidates will be selected based on an objective-type multiple-choice question (MCQ). 200 MCQ questions will be asked in the 2-hour exam. Each question will carry one mark. The paper will have 40 questions, each from General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical and Numerical Ability, Hindi and English Language Comprehension.
